A brief history of MOGmedia
In 2000, MOGmedia S.L. was formed in Spain by Martin MacDonald as a holding company and legal owner of a group of websites primarily focused on the online gambling sector. Between 2000-2007 it operated a group of online poker sites and gaming affiliates, communities and hosting companies.
Between 2007 & 2017, the company was dormant as Martin worked in house with roles ranging from Head of Search at Seatwave (acquired by TicketMaster), Head of SEO at Omnicom UK, Head of Global SEO at Orbitz and Head of SEO for Expedia’s global regional brands group.
In July 2017 MOGmedia Inc. was formed in Los Gatos, California as a boutique search marketing consultancy, leveraging Martin’s decade of experience leading some of the largest and top performing in-house SEO teams worldwide.
In late 2018, after trialing multiple “enterprise” SEO tools to service our early clients, with unsatisfactory results and lackluster scalability, MOGmedia started work on a number of in-house data tools to process the large amounts of data necessary to work with global scale clients. This has culminated in the build of a full scale SEO platform tailored specifically to the challenges of massive scale search optimization.
