
Driving Incremental Ticket Sales
CheapTickets are based in the USA and are part of the Orbitz Group. They are a well-known site for selling concert and theatre show tickets, but also sell tickets for sports events.
The Challenge
Our task was to raise awareness of their sports tickets offering with a campaign that specifically targeted American basketball fans within the USA.

Our Strategy
We spent a week brainstorming with the client in Chicago and submitted 10 creative link building ideas, this case study is an example of one of those.
We created a league table of NBA basketball teams around the US, compiling details of different factors affecting the cost of a basketball game, e.g. cost of food, merchandise and ticket entry. The output was a table listing the cheapest teams to go and see.
With no access to NBA team/players photography, our Design team crafted a series of icons and graphics to be used instead.
